The Bvlgari Resort is located in one of the most breath taking scenery in the world, a veritable emblem of the tropical exoticism of the Orient, combining the breathtaking beauty of unspoiled nature with a sophisticated contemporary design born from the encounter between traditional Balinese forms and high Italian style. The quality of the services along with the views of the Indian Ocean offered by its magnificent position 150 meters over the sea are the perfect introduction to the second luxury property from Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts.

In August 2012, The Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts appointed PT Gapura Liqua Solutions for 7 years Build Operate Transfer (BOT) contract for a new 500 CMD total capacity of combined Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) and Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) system. The RO system used for the treatment of seawater from sea well and brackish water from ground water well. In this project, 1 (one) sea well and 2 (two) ground water well constructed to supply raw water need for the system. From sea well, the raw water transfer to SWRO housing, with distance 500 meter from the sea well. Please bear in mind the topographical is very challenging (80-85o inclination, 150 m height). The water then process using seawater reverse osmosis system to produce fresh water. After that, this product transferred to hotel fresh water tank, before distributed for hotel consumption.

The system will guarantee that the resort will always have quality water for their guests. This prove that difficult location, a real added value for the breathtaking view, but also can be engineering marvel has been done by GLS. Using the system, not only the hotel needs not to worry about the water supply and the quality, but also cost effective. The SWRO system is now under construction and on schedule to start production in earlier of February 2013.
