Padma Resort in Puhu on the island of Bali, Indonesia is developed on a site of approximately 2.0 Ha. On 16th of June 2014, Padma Resort has appointed PT Gapura Liqua Solutions for Reverse Osmosis (RO) Package Plant with 300 CMD (Cubic Meter per Day) capacity. The RO system used for the treatment of deep well water.

By using this RO system, there are several benefits enjoy by this resort. The foremost is the water quality is always high grade water. Means that the water has been monitored and controlled in certain level of safety according to the government standard. With good water quality, the resort will reduce cost for maintenance, reduce in laundry detergent consumption, as well as reducing energy consumption by prevent the tendency of scaling in all heat transfer units. At the end of the day, the one that benefits the most are the guest satisfaction of Padma Resort Puhu. The RO system is now under construction and on schedule to start production in end of November 2014.

The Bvlgari Resort Project

The quality of the services along with the views of the Indian Ocean offered by its magnificent position 150 meters over the sea are the perfect introduction to the second luxury property from Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts.

In August 2012, The Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts appointed PT Gapura Liqua Solutions for 7 years Build Operate Transfer (BOT) contract for a new 500 CMD total capacity of combined Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) and Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) system. The RO system used for the treatment of seawater from sea well and brackish water from ground water well. In this project, 1 (one) sea well and 2 (two) ground water well constructed to supply raw water need for the system. From sea well, the raw water transfer to SWRO housing, with distance 500 meter from the sea well. Please bear in mind the topographical is very challenging (80-85o inclination, 150 m height). The water then process using seawater reverse osmosis system to produce fresh water. After that, this product transferred to hotel fresh water tank, before distributed for hotel consumption.

The system will guarantee that the resort will always have quality water for their guests. This prove that difficult location, a real added value for the breathtaking view, but also can be engineering marvel has been done by GLS. Using the system, not only the hotel needs not to worry about the water supply and the quality, but also cost effective. The SWRO system is now under construction and on schedule to start production in earlier of February 2013.

The St. Regis and The Laguna Bali, a luxury resort in Bali and one of the most exclusive and beautiful destinations in the world with a beautiful beach at Nusa Dua.

Gapura Liqua Solutions is proud to be this beautiful resort’s partner in providing fresh water. Gapura Liqua Solutions investing on 450 CMD (Cubic Meter per Day) Sea Water Reverse Osmosis desalination system. While the hotel will compensate GLS based on the water consumption. At the end of the cooperation time, the system will belong to the hotel (Build, Operate, Transfer / BOT). The SWRO system used for the treatment of seawater from sea well. In this project, 2 (two) sea well constructed to supply raw water need for the system. From sea well, the raw water transfer to SWRO housing, which located 400 – 500 meter from the sea well. The water then process using seawater reverse osmosis system to produce fresh water. After that, the product is being transferred to the hotel’s fresh water reservoir, before distributed for hotel consumption.

Having their own Water Desalination System, the hotel does not have to worry about the water supply, also since using BOT Partnership GLS guaranteed the supply of fresh water all year round. The SWRO system is now under construction and on schedule to start production in earlier of January 2013.

PT. Gapura Liqua Mandiri (PT. GLM) recently participated in the first Habibie Festival event which was held in Museum Nasional, Jakarta. The festival, which opened on Thursday (11/08) and ran until Sunday (14/08), celebrated the 80th birthday of former Indonesian president, B.J. Habibie and the launch of “Berkarya!Indonesia” — a movement to bolster technology and innovation among Indonesia’s youth. According to Ilham Habibie, the founder of “Berkarya!Indonesia”, B.J. Habibie believes that a nationwide adoption and understanding of advanced and applied technologies for innovative use is the key to creating a better Indonesia. PT. GLM as an environmental-friendly technology solution and value-added services company in total water solution & energy conservation in Indonesia was awarded an opportunity to exhibit its contribution to technology and innovation in the Habibie Festival.

In the event which was attended by around 55,000 visitors of all ages (who consisted not only of several government representatives, industrial practitioners, and universities’ researchers, but also thousands of students and kids), PT. GLM displayed its development in Total Water Solution and Aquaculture. The visitors were made to understand that we are facing a serious water crisis; by the year 2020, water demand will exceed supply by 470 trillion gallons and the United Nations predicts that two-thirds of the world’s population will live in areas facing moderate to severe water stress by 2025. PT. GLM realizes and embraces this challenge by providing integrated solutions through “Total Water Solution and Energy Conservation” concept and continuously creating and incorporating innovation in this field.
